The club
History & values
Bouaké Football Club is the soccer club of the city of Bouaké, Côte d’Ivoire. It plays in the Ivorian Ligue 1 and is the only professional league team in the Gbêkê region.
Our values
Behind every jersey are committed players, a determined staff and a community of supporters who share the same passion. The club sums up its mindset in three points: its strength, the team; its identity, Bouaké; its ambition, always going further.
A new chapter: the 2026-2027 season
For the 2026-2027 season, the club is aiming for the Côte d’Ivoire championship title and, as a result, a spot in an African competition. It is also taking the path of professionalization, both in its organization and its facilities, around a new triptych: a passion, a club, a business. Its leadership intends to make the status of sports company a reality.
The General Assembly of September 19, 2026
On September 19, 2026, the club held its General Assembly in the multipurpose hall of the Bouaké City Hall, under the theme “All united around Bouaké Football Club: building a club-company for a new sporting dynamic in the Gbêkê region.” The Chairman of the Board, Issa Diabaté, presented the main directions of the club’s development project and announced the acquisition of a 10-hectare site in Langbassou, about ten kilometers from Bouaké, to host its future facilities.
Youth development at the heart of the project
The club officially presented its soccer Academy on June 13, 2026, at the Lycée Classique de Bouaké. Its Chairman reaffirmed there that youth development is a priority, in support of the Gbêkê region’s rise to the top of Ivorian soccer. A few weeks earlier, the club’s U17 team had become Côte d’Ivoire champions.
