Privacy policy

This policy explains which personal data the bouakefc.com website processes, why, for how long and how to exercise your rights, in accordance with Ivorian law no. 2013-450 of June 19, 2013 on the protection of personal data. Last updated: November 1, 2026.

Data collected

The website only asks for personal data through the contact form: name, email address, phone (optional), subject and message. You give your consent by checking the consent box of the form.

Like any web server, the site’s server records in its technical logs the IP address, date, requested page and browser of each visit, to ensure the security and proper operation of the website.

No visitor account is created and no data is sold or transferred.

Purpose

The form data is only used to answer your request. It is read by the club team in charge of the chosen subject (supporters, media, partnerships), who receives your message by email; an acknowledgment of receipt is sent to you. The technical logs are only used for the security and troubleshooting of the website.

Retention period

Form messages are automatically deleted 12 months after they are received. The server’s technical logs are kept for 90 days at most. Database backup copies are kept for 90 days at most.

Service providers

The website is hosted by OVH SAS (Roubaix, France). The contact form is protected against automated submissions by Cloudflare Turnstile, an anti-spam service without tracking cookies, which analyzes technical browsing data (including the IP address) when the form is sent. The form’s emails are delivered by an email delivery provider. Backup copies are entrusted to an online storage provider.

Cookies and third-party content

The website uses no tracking or audience measurement cookies. A single functional cookie remembers the chosen language (French or English) for one year.

Videos hosted by YouTube or Facebook only load when you start playback; thumbnails of YouTube videos are displayed from YouTube’s servers. These services apply their own privacy rules. The links to the club’s social networks take you outside the website.

Your rights

You can request access to your data, its correction or deletion, and object to its processing, by writing to the club through the Contact page. You can also contact the Telecommunications/ICT Regulatory Authority of Côte d’Ivoire (ARTCI).
